A small, carefully kept collection of just four pieces, and we make no apology for that. At its heart are Planaship's beautifully detailed prints: a Falmouth Working Boat print for sailing folk, and the Lands End and Isles of Scilly shipwreck maps charting the wrecks scattered along our wildest shores. A Two Tone Wooden Crab plaque adds a more playful, tactile note. These belong to our wider coastal home decor range, but they do something the ornaments can't: tell a true story about a real stretch of coast.
A shipwreck map is one of the most heartfelt things we sell. Frame the Lands End or Isles of Scilly print for a retirement, a significant birthday or a new home by the water, and you're handing over a piece of real maritime history rather than generic seaside imagery. The Falmouth Working Boat print speaks especially to anyone who's spent time on that harbour, so it's worth a look at what makes the town tick: plan a visit to Falmouth and the working boats still racing in its waters.
The Planaship prints arrive unframed. No bad thing. That keeps the cost down and lets you pick a finish that suits your home: a simple oak frame for a modern room, something darker and weightier above a fireplace. Check the product page for exact dimensions, such as the 63 x 45cm shipwreck maps, before you buy glass and a mount. To echo the heritage feel around the print, the traditional nautical pieces sit naturally alongside brass, rope and blue-and-white detailing.
